The Parish Council is responsible for:

the play area / grounds at the Village Hall

farmers and village allotments

commenting on planning applications

the village notice boards

general maintenance around the village

defibrillators in the village
The Village of Hevingham
Hevingham is a village and civil parish in Norfolk.
It falls within the auspices of Broadland District Council.
Hevingham PC
The Parish Council is made up of members who all live in
the village and represent the village on various matters.
We are effectively the third tier of local government,
the other two being Norfolk County Council and
Broadland District Council.

Planning applications
The Parish Council are currently being consulted on planning application 2026/0471 for a single storey flat roof rear extension 34 Morgans Way. Full details can be viewed online at:

Members of the public can comment directly to BDC via their website before the 2nd April or via the Parish Council by emailing the Clerk before the 24th March 2026.
The Parish Council would always recommend commenting directly to BDC as well as to the Parish Council, as BDC are the ones that make the final decisions.
